When the mind is filled with the resonance of Presence Consciousness, the emotional body begins to react, aligning with the Peace that is its Truth, then the body and one’s physical experiences begin to align as well.

The energy field of the individual begins – sometimes slowly – to clear itself of heavier vibrations, and the perceived external reality begins to mirror the new awareness of Truth.

Peace, Love, and Joy – referred to by another author as our Spiritual DNA – are reactivated in this cleared energy field, and one’s life begins to abundantly reflect experiences of a similar vibration.

Although our mental processes are, by their very nature, limited in their abilities to grasp and comprehend Presence Consciousness, they are the starting point for our journey within. Ultimately, we arrive at the understanding that we cannot strive to change our experience of reality.

We cannot change our reality by seeking anything outside ourselves. We can only change our reality by embodying the Truth that we are already Presence Consciousness.

When we truly experience our nature, the external will be its mirror.

Through these prayers, we finally awaken to the Truth that we are what we are seeking.

Light

Light is the manifestation of Presence that illumines and allows the possibility of true vision.

Physical light, whether the light of the sun or artificial lamplight, makes it possible to perceive through the eyes whatever is looked upon. It is not the light of the object, but the light reflected from it that makes it visible to the human eye.

Likewise, spiritual Light emanating from the one perceiving illumines what is seen and makes it possible to see the Truth – the perfect expression of Presence – in all creation. The degree of Light projected is dependent upon the level of Light embodied in the one projecting. The greater the degree of Light, the stronger the reflection, and the more clearly we see.

It is as if each one of us is in control of our spiritual Light rheostat. When it is turned down so that very little light shines through, it is impossible to see clearly. When Light is embodied and allowed to shine brightly, the rheostsat is fully opened and All is clearly visible.

The Light has come, expressing in and through me.

In this moment, I release any thought that would keep me in darkness.

I release the blinders of doubt and fear.

I open my eyes to all the blessings around me.

I freely share the Light with myself and my world.

I allow Light to have its full expression as me this day.

I consciously breathe into the space that is the center of my being.

I release anything that would block my awareness of Presence as me.

I reclaim the Light as my Truth.

This Light is Peace remembered.

Light fills my being and radiates out from me as love.

I acknowledge – I Am the Light of the World.

Hallelujah!

Amen!

I know myself as the One Light.

I embrace this Light.

I radiate its energy and shine forth as a beacon of Love, bringing allowing and forgiveness to my world.

This Light allows me to see clearly.

I see only what is true and real.

In this Light all shadows of illusion dissipate.

I stand firmly in Light.

Light is reflected to me in its full spectrum.

I am nurtured and sustained in its warmth.

I celebrate the Light of Presence as me.

Self-fullness

“Do not withhold your gifts from the Sonship, or you withhold yourself from God! Selfishness is of the ego, but Self-fullness is of spirit because that is how God created it.”
- A Course in Miracles

This passage from A Course in Miracles has given me a whole new understanding of what it means to be Self-full, as well as what it means to be selfish. I have always thought one to be selfish who is only concerned with his or her needs, not considerate of others, or one who takes without the thought of giving. What I think the Course is saying is that selfishness is not about taking, but is actually about withholding. To be selfish is to withhold from the world the expression of your unique gifts and talents. It is withholding God from God!

Self-fullness, on the other hand, because it is of Spirit is only about extending. Self-fullness is confidence – it is knowing that you are a magnificent expression of God expressing. In self-fullness you overflow with the expression of Spirit. You can do no other. Self-fullness recognizes that you are endowed with all the gifts of Spirit, and makes no apology for owning that truth and living that truth. Unlike selfishness, self-fullness does not “hide its light under a bushel”. From the unique individuation of Spirit that you are, It shines brightly for the entire world to benefit.

If a Mystical Genie granted me one wish, I would wish that each of us realize his/her own magnificence, and live with the fullness of Spirit in every moment of every day. I believe that if we lived in the fullness of Spirit, which is the true ‘Self’ of you and me, there would be no suffering, no pain, no war, no violence, no hunger. When we stop withholding God from God, and live absent of a belief in separation, we manifest Heaven here and now.

My hope is that we renew our commitment to continue living Self-full lives, and continue to support each other in recognizing our magnificence.
